| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of William Geyer of Moline, who passed away | 4 | | on May 21, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, William Geyer was born in Detroit, Michigan to | 6 | | Paul and Loween (Conklin) Geyer on September 25, 1944; he | 7 | | graduated from Moline High School in 1962; he served in the | 8 | | U.S. Army as an E5, Orthopedic Specialist at Ft. Hood Army | 9 | | Hospital in Killeen, Texas; he graduated from Murray State | 10 | | University in 1970; he married Margo Johnson on June 20, 1973; | 11 | | and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, William Geyer began working at John Deere | 13 | | Harvester Works in 1966, and he remained an active employee | 14 | | until his death; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, In his free time, William Geyer took an active | 16 | | role in his family's sporting and academic events; he enjoyed | 17 | | watching sports, working on at-home projects, and helping | 18 | | others; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, William Geyer was preceded in death by his wife; | 20 | | his parents; and his nephew, Greg Geyer; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, William Geyer is survived by his children, Thomas | 2 | | Geyer, James Geyer, Deborah (Shae) Drobushevich, and Michelle | 3 | | Geyer; his grandchildren, Jeremy Drobushevich, Nicholas | 4 | | Drobushevich, Shae Drobushevich, Marissa Summers, Camryn | 5 | | Summers, Taylor Summers, and Aeva Geyer; his brothers, Charles | 6 | | (Sharon) Geyer and family, Paul (Natalie) Geyer and family; and | 7 | | his sister-in-law, Marcia (Merle) Gerber and family; | 8 | | therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 11 | | William Geyer and extend our sincere condolences to his family, | 12 | | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
