| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Edward J. Sychta of Grayslake, who passed | 4 | | away on November 14, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Edward Sychta was born in Chicago on July 9, 1923 | 6 | | to Joseph and Lottie (nee Urbanski) Sychta; he served in the | 7 | | military during World War II; he married Victoria on January | 8 | | 28, 1950 in Chicago; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Edward Sychta was a long-standing President of the | 10 | | Vernon Hills Seniors Organization; he enjoyed going to the | 11 | | casino and being with his family; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Edward Sychta was preceded in death by his | 13 | | parents; his brother, Steve; and his sister, Bernice; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Edward Sychta is survived by his wife of 65 years, | 15 | | Victoria; his children, Susan (Martin) Gallegos-Sychta, | 16 | | Margaret (Kimbrough) Clarke, Mercedes (Jerome) Balcer, and | 17 | | James (Sharon) Sychta; his grandchildren, Nina (Alex) Larson, | 18 | | Scott, Madeline, Cassandra, Claire, and Trevor; and his | 19 | | great-grandson, Colton; therefore, be it
