| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Patricia A. Nelson of Woodstock, who | 4 | | passed away on May 7, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Patricia Nelson was born in Woodstock on February | 6 | | 7, 1941 to Patrick J. and Catherine A. (nee Nolan) Murray; she | 7 | | married Richard J. Nelson on November 21, 1959 at St. Patrick | 8 | | Catholic Church, Hartland in Woodstock; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Patricia Nelson worked with the McHenry County | 10 | | Government Center for over 20 years; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Patricia Nelson had a passion for genealogy and | 12 | | was a member of the McHenry County Historical Society for many | 13 | | years; she enjoyed spending winters in Sarasota, Florida and | 14 | | summers in Milton, Wisconsin; she also loved spending time with | 15 | | family and friends, taking trips on a Harley, and playing | 16 | | games, especially Bingo; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Patricia Nelson was preceded in death by her | 18 | | parents, and by a brother, Thomas J. Murray; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Patricia Nelson is survived by her husband, | 20 | | Richard; her children, Linda (Jim) Jahn, David (Debbie) Nelson, |

| 1 | | and Cindy (Peter) Lieser; grandchildren, Jason and Kristen | 2 | | Jahn, Carlee and Emma Lieser, Jens (Elyssa) Nelson, Katey | 3 | | (Justin) Kimbro, and Corrie, Glen, and Bruce Reiter; | 4 | | great-grandchildren, Layla Nelson, Riley Reiter, and Braxton | 5 | | and Kelan Kimbro; a brother, Michael (Ruth) Murray; a nephew, | 6 | | Michael T. Murray, Jr.; a niece, Marcia (James) Kalisik; and a | 7 | | great-nephew, Jacob Kalisik; therefore, be it
