| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Susan Kay Sutton of Bloomington, who | 4 | | passed away on June 12, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Susan Sutton was born in Freeport to Lawrence and | 6 | | Nell Herbig on August 18, 1950; her favorite childhood memories | 7 | | were going to the cabin in Tomahawk, Wisconsin and spending | 8 | | time with her extended family; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Susan Sutton had a passion for real estate and | 10 | | worked hard to provide her clients with a professional and | 11 | | caring experience; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Susan Sutton was a member of the Evergreen Racquet | 13 | | Club for over 40 years; her team competed for national | 14 | | championships in 1990, 1996, and 2001; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Susan Sutton had a vivacious personality and a | 16 | | desire to live life to the fullest; she was always on the move | 17 | | and had many hobbies, including tennis and sewing; she enjoyed | 18 | | creating sewing projects and crafts for her friends and family; | 19 | | she was kind and generous; a beautiful sky, flowers, and | 20 | | vegetable gardens always made her smile; and |

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Susan Sutton was a member of Second Presbyterian | 2 | | Church in Bloomington and Eastview Christian Church in Normal; | 3 | | and
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Susan Sutton is survived by her husband, Don | 5 | | Sutton; her daughters, Kellie Henry (David) and Amanda Boitnott | 6 | | (Greg); her stepchildren, Doug Sutton, Julie Houston, and Jill | 7 | | Costas (Bob); her grandchildren, Jackson Henry, Emma Boitnott, | 8 | | Ellie Boitnott, Isaac Henry, Carlie Boitnott, Spencer Henry, | 9 | | Ashlyn Houston, and Alexa Houston; her sister, Marsha Forsythe; | 10 | | and her brothers, Terry (Donna) and Todd Herbig; therefore, be | 11 | | it
| 12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 13 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 14 | | Susan Kay Sutton and extend our sincere condolences to her | 15 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 16 | | further
