| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representative are saddened to learn of the death of Ruby Lee | 4 | | (nee Johnson) BoClair of Chicago, who passed away on October 8, | 5 | | 2014; and
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Ruby BoClair was born in Eudora, Arkansas on | 7 | | August 22, 1941 to Ozella Frazier and Harry Johnson; she | 8 | | married Rufus BoClair, Jr. on July 23, 1961; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Ruby BoClair was a member of Zion Hill Missionary | 10 | | Baptist Church and then Pillars Rock Baptist Church and St. | 11 | | Luke Missionary Baptist Church; she enjoyed reading the Bible, | 12 | | attending gospel concerts, cooking, and spending time with her | 13 | | family; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Ruby BoClair was preceded in death by her husband, | 15 | | Rufus; her parents,
Ozella and Harry Johnson; and | 16 | | granddaughter, Kailynn Boclair; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Ruby BoClair is survived by a brother, Mickey
| 18 | | Johnson; an uncle, Rev. Charley Lemon, Jr.; children, Rufus, | 19 | | III "Temple", William, Lashonda, Keith, Sr., Latasha, Kent, | 20 | | Sr., and Anna "Cookie", whom she raised as one of her own; 15 | 21 | | grandchildren; 7 sisters-in-law; 3 brothers-in-law; a special |
