| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Martin V. Mueller of Antioch, who passed | 4 | | away on June 17, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Martin Mueller was born on June 1, 1954 in Howell, | 6 | | Michigan; his parents were Alexander and Donna Mae (nee Colvin) | 7 | | Mueller; he lived in the Mason, Michigan area for many years | 8 | | before settling in Antioch in 1984; he married Ruth Salminen on | 9 | | July 16, 1983 in Waukegan; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Martin Mueller worked as a machine operator for | 11 | | International Filing Company in Waukegan for many years; for | 12 | | the past 7 years, he worked for Fischer Paper Products in | 13 | | Antioch; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Martin Mueller was a former member of the Antioch | 15 | | Moose Lodge; he enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling, managing | 16 | | his properties in Savanna, and tending to the tumbling | 17 | | scholarship program he began in his daughter Marissa's memory; | 18 | | and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Martin Mueller was preceded in death his parents | 20 | | and 2 daughters, Heather and Marissa Mueller; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Martin Mueller is survived by his wife of 31 | 2 | | years, Ruth; a daughter, Tiffany Mueller; 5 siblings, Lorelei | 3 | | (Leo) Allaire, Donna "Vicki" (Kenneth) McCurdy, Martha (Terry) | 4 | | Olson, Julie (Fred) Robinson, and Alexander Jr. (Shirley) | 5 | | Mueller; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and | 6 | | friends; therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | 9 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Martin Mueller; and be | 10 | | it further
| 11 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 12 | | presented to the family of Martin Mueller as an expression of | 13 | | our sympathy.
