| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Jerry Lee Price Sr. of Bloomington, who | 4 | | passed away on August 1, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jerry Price was born in East Peoria to Thomas and | 6 | | Vera (May) Price on April 14, 1942; he married Lois "Susie" | 7 | | Shepherd, and she preceded him in death on March 5, 2003; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Jerry Price worked for the City of Bloomington as | 9 | | a heavy equipment operator/engineer for 28 years until his | 10 | | retirement; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Jerry Price enjoyed camping and traveling, | 12 | | especially when he had his dogs by his side; he had his own | 13 | | special camping place he would visit by the Illinois River; he | 14 | | also enjoyed spending his winters in Texas and loved his family | 15 | | more than anything; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Jerry Price was preceded in death by his wife, | 17 | | Susie; his parents; and several brothers; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Jerry Price is survived by his significant other | 19 | | of 14 years, Mary Mohr; his son, Jerry Price Jr.; his daughter, | 20 | | Deshona (Daniel) Hert; his grandchildren, Brittani (Evan) |
