| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of James "Jim" Kroll of Waukegan, who passed | 4 | | away on June 28, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jim Kroll was born on October 3, 1952 in Waukegan; | 6 | | he graduated from Waukegan High School in 1970; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, After retirement, Jim Kroll worked at the Ace | 8 | | Hardware in Waukegan; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Jim Kroll was a member of the Yorkhouse Methodist | 10 | | Church in Waukegan; he was an avid golfer, a woodworker, and | 11 | | enjoyed playing the saxophone; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Jim Kroll was preceded in death by his | 13 | | step-grandson, Garrett Taylor; father, Jack Kroll; | 14 | | brother-in-law, Jack Braitman; and nephew, Tom Kroll; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Jim Kroll is survived by his wife of 34 years, | 16 | | Mary Kroll; daughter, Susan (Jason) Yates; 5 step-children, | 17 | | Jeff (Linda) Boyd, Denise (Steven) Cleveland, DeAnna Taylor, | 18 | | Jill (George) Bubalo, and Dale Boyd; 2 grandchildren, Andrew | 19 | | and Haley Yates; 6 step-grandchildren, Olivia, Drake, Alana and | 20 | | Elyssa Cleveland, Nickolas Bubalo, and Justin Boyd; mother, |
