| 1 | | SENATE RESOLUTION
| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of William John "Bud" Auterman, who passed | 4 | | away on December 11, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, William Auterman was born in Waterford, Wisconsin | 6 | | on October 9, 1926 to Theodore John Auterman and Edna Boldt; he | 7 | | served in the United States Army in World War II and Korea as a | 8 | | paratrooper in the 11th Airborne, finishing with the rank of | 9 | | First Lieutenant; he received his degree in accounting from the | 10 | | University of Illinois; he married Marianna See on October 6, | 11 | | 1951; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, William Auterman worked as an accountant for | 13 | | Piere, Hunt and Curzon (now CliftonLarsonAllen); he then | 14 | | changed to the construction industry with Whetzel | 15 | | Construction, later becoming Vice-President of Cross | 16 | | Construction; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, William Auterman continued to dedicate his life to | 18 | | service as a volunteer for Eastern Prairie Fire Protection | 19 | | District for numerous years; he also served as Treasurer for | 20 | | the Prairielands Council of the Boy Scouts; he loved the | 21 | | outdoors, working with his tools, and country music, but most | 22 | | of all his family and friends; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, William Auterman was preceded in death by his | 2 | | wife, Marianna Auterman; his brother-in-law, Frank Graham; and | 3 | | his niece, Michelle Ohme; and
| 4 | | WHEREAS, William Auterman has a daughter, Beth Auterman, | 5 | | with a grandson, Theodore Jon Auterman; and a son, Daniel Jon | 6 | | Auterman (Jacqui), with grandchildren, Laura Phillips, Joshua | 7 | | Auterman (Danyale), and Jesse Auterman, in addition to 2 | 8 | | great-grandchildren, Collin and Kolby Phillips; also surviving | 9 | | are 2 sisters, Olive Graham and Arlene (Arlen) Reynolds; | 10 | | therefore, be it
| 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 12 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 13 | | William John "Bud" Auterman, and extend our sincere condolences | 14 | | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | 15 | | it further
| 16 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 17 | | presented to the family of William Auterman as an expression of | 18 | | our deepest sympathy.
