| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Frances M. Jerina of North Chicago, who | 4 | | passed away on July 30, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Frances Jerina was born in North Chicago on August | 6 | | 25, 1923; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Frances Jerina was employed at Westvaco (U.S. | 8 | | Envelope Co), and retired after 30 years of service; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Frances Jerina was a member of The Most Blessed | 10 | | Trinity, Queen of Peace Parish, St. Mary's #79 K.S.K.J, The | 11 | | Steelworkers Retiree Club, and The Slovenic Club; she sang in | 12 | | the church choir and was very generous with her time, | 13 | | volunteering for many church and lodge activities; she was also | 14 | | a member of The Quarter Century Club; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Frances Jerina was preceded in death by her | 16 | | husband, Frank; her parents, Anton and Frances Jesenovec; and | 17 | | her brother, Tony; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Frances Jerina is survived by her daughter, Pat | 19 | | (Rudy) Pugel; 2 sons, John (Marcia) and Jim (Robin) Jerina; 6 | 20 | | grandchildren, Mark (Lisa) Pugel, Andrea (Lee) Ostrowski, |
