| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of James D. "Jim" Kuhn of Rantoul, who | 4 | | passed away on September 30, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jim Kuhn was born in Watseka to Orville and Helen | 6 | | (Lemming) Kuhn on March 3, 1955; he graduated from Cissna Park | 7 | | High School; he earned his associate degree at Parkland College | 8 | | in Champaign; he married Linda Boley in Watseka on April 20, | 9 | | 1989; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Jim Kuhn worked for the City of Urbana for 17 | 11 | | years; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Jim Kuhn was an avid gardener, and his garden was | 13 | | admired by his family and neighbors; he loved the Chicago Bears | 14 | | and the Chicago Cubs; he enjoyed singing karaoke, being a disc | 15 | | jockey, and reading; he loved attending family cookouts and | 16 | | spending time with his loved ones; he will be remembered as a | 17 | | devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and | 18 | | great-grandfather; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Jim Kuhn was preceded in death by his parents and | 20 | | his sister, Yvonne Thrasher; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Jim Kuhn is survived by his wife, Linda (Boley) | 2 | | Kuhn; his children, Jamie Huisinga (Kyle), Amanda Esposito | 3 | | (Thomas Navolt), Layla Johnson (Rodney), and James Esposito | 4 | | (Denise Campbell); his sisters, Betty Seidel, Donna Brown | 5 | | (John), and Debbie Mueller (Wayne); his brother, Ron Kuhn; his | 6 | | grandchildren, Devon, Alexandra, Jaricka, Catherine, Breanna, | 7 | | Nathaniel, Olivia, and Addison; and his great-grandchildren, | 8 | | Aria and Memphis, with one on the way; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 11 | | James D. "Jim" Kuhn and extend our sincere condolences to his | 12 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 13 | | further
