| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Richard "Dick" L. Crosby of Rock Island, | 4 | | who passed away on October 22, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Dick Crosby was born to Edward and Faye (Potts) | 6 | | Crosby in Milan on March 2, 1931; he served four years in the | 7 | | Army National Guard; he married Charlene Bell in Rock Island on | 8 | | September 5, 1953; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Dick Crosby worked as a machinist at International | 10 | | Harvester Farmall Works for 26 years, retiring in 1985; he also | 11 | | worked at Container Corporation and Greater Quad City Auction; | 12 | | he was a member of UAW Local 1309; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Dick Crosby loved quiet days working in his garage | 14 | | or relaxing on his front porch; he enjoyed NASCAR and country | 15 | | music; most of all, he cherished time with his family; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Dick Crosby was preceded in death by his parents; | 17 | | his son, Robert Crosby; his grandson, Robby Crosby; and his | 18 | | sisters, Darlene Bemblossom and Lorraine Sleyster; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Dick Crosby is survived by his wife of 67 years, | 20 | | Charlene; his children, June (Dan) McIntire, Sue (Brad) Fritz, |

| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 6 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

condolences to | 8 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
