| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives were saddened to learn of the
death of Private | 4 | | First Class Tyler Iubelt of Tamaroa, who passed away on | 5 | | November 12, 2016,
from injuries sustained in the defense of | 6 | | our nation while serving at Bagram Airfield in
Afghanistan; he | 7 | | was 20 years old; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, PFC Iubelt was a 2011 graduate of Tamaroa Grade | 9 | | School and a 2015 graduate of
Pinckneyville Community High | 10 | | School in Perry County; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, PFC Iubelt enlisted in the United States Army just | 12 | | after his high school graduation and
was deployed to | 13 | | Afghanistan two months ago in support of Operation Freedom's | 14 | | Sentinel with
Headquarters and Headquarters Company, First | 15 | | Special Troops Battalion, First Sustainment
Brigade, First | 16 | | Cavalry Division based at Fort Hood, Texas; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, As news spread of the death of PFC Iubelt, he was | 18 | | remembered by friends in Perry County
for his good sense of | 19 | | humor and happy personality, his love of sports, especially | 20 | | basketball, and
his devotion to his family and community; and
| 21 | | WHEREAS, PFC Iubelt is survived by his wife, Shelby; his |

| 1 | | infant daughter, Violet; his
parents, Loquosto and Charlotte | 2 | | Iubelt; and his family and friends in Southern Illinois; | 3 | | therefore, be it
| 4 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | 5 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | 6 | | mourn the death of Private First Class Tyler Iubelt, and extend | 7 | | our sincere condolences to his family, friends and all who knew | 8 | | and loved him; and be it further
| 9 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 10 | | presented to the family of PFC Iubelt as an
expression of our | 11 | | deepest sympathy.
