| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Naomi D. Williams of Oak Park, who passed | 4 | | away on May 17, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Naomi Williams was born on July 7, 1919; and
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Naomi Williams was a past-member of the Nineteenth | 7 | | Century Charitable Association, the Senior Citizens Center of | 8 | | Oak Park-River Forest, and the River Forest Community Center, | 9 | | and she was a volunteer for the Economy Shop, the Community | 10 | | Chest of Oak Park-River Forest, and the Oak Park Health | 11 | | Department; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Naomi Williams was preceded in death by her son, | 13 | | Robert; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Naomi Williams is survived by her children, | 15 | | Richard (Rose Ann), Gail (James) Kennedy, and Thomas | 16 | | (Elizabeth), and her grandchildren, Erin L. Woods and Amy | 17 | | Kennedy Romero; therefore, be it
| 18 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 19 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 20 | | Naomi D. Williams, and extend our sincere condolences to her |
