| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of William "Frank" Bragg of Atwood, who | 4 | | passed away on May 29, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Frank Bragg was born in Decatur to William M. and | 6 | | Marie Wharton Bragg on January 29, 1930; he married Betty A. | 7 | | Dukeman at Lake Fork Church in Atwood on August 8, 1948; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Frank Bragg farmed all of his life, retiring in | 9 | | 1995; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Frank Bragg was a member of the United Church of | 11 | | Atwood, where he served as chairman of the building committee | 12 | | during the construction of the new church; he loved antique | 13 | | tractors, especially Oliver tractors, and was a member of the I & | 14 | | I Tractor Club for many years; he was also a longtime member | 15 | | of the Douglas County Farm Bureau; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Frank Bragg was an experienced private pilot; he | 17 | | was a member of the Flying Farmers of America; he flew several | 18 | | times throughout the U.S. and also toured Mexico with his wife | 19 | | in his private plane; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Frank Bragg was preceded in death by his parents; |

| 2 | | WHEREAS, Frank Bragg is survived by his wife, Betty; his | 3 | | sons, Mark (Tammy Lentz) Bragg and Michael (Debra) Bragg; his | 4 | | grandchildren, Jonathan (Nikki) Bragg, Erin "Maggie" (Kosta) | 5 | | Demopoulos, and Matthew (Molly) Bragg; his | 6 | | great-grandchildren, Tegan Bragg, Braxton Bragg, Nikolas | 7 | | Demopoulos, Astraia Demopoulos, Ioanna Demopoulos, and Levin | 8 | | Demopoulos; his sister, Marilyn Roze; his nephews, Scott | 9 | | (Marie) Roze, Todd Roze, Russell (Sheri) Dukeman, and Joe | 10 | | (Karen) Dukeman; and his niece, Cheryl (John) Franks; | 11 | | therefore, be it
| 12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 13 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 14 | | William "Frank" Bragg and extend our sincere condolences to his | 15 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 16 | | further
