| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Norma S. Knox of Monroe, Wisconsin, who | 4 | | passed away on September 28, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Norma Knox was born in Ringwood on August 20, 1932 | 6 | | to Leo and Mary (nee Schmitt) Hiller; she graduated from high | 7 | | school in McHenry and married Robert W. Knox, Sr. on January | 8 | | 27, 1951 at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in | 9 | | Johnsburg; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Norma Knox and her husband farmed in the McHenry, | 11 | | Crystal Lake, and Monroe, Wisconsin areas all of their lives; | 12 | | she also worked for Colony Brands, Inc. in Monroe for 17 years | 13 | | before retiring; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Norma Knox was a member of St. Victor Catholic | 15 | | Church in Monroe, Wisconsin; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Norma Knox was preceded in death by her husband, | 17 | | Robert; sons, Joseph and James; her parents; and her brother, | 18 | | Paul Hiller; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Norma Knox is survived by her children, Michael | 20 | | Knox, Judy (Kenneth) Stoerp, Janet Weidner, Theodore Knox, |

| 19 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 20 | | presented to the family of Norma Knox as an expression of our | 21 | | deepest sympathy.
