| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Harris M. Kimbrough, Jr., who passed away | 4 | | on October 19, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Harris Kimbrough, Jr. was born on April 24, 1932 | 6 | | in Amarillo, Texas to Harris and Jewel (nee Scales) Kimbrough, | 7 | | Sr.; he attended Yale University and the University of Texas | 8 | | before receiving his D.D.S. at Texas A&M University Baylor | 9 | | College of Dentistry; he served as a lieutenant in the United | 10 | | States Navy, where he served in the Philippines; he married | 11 | | Diane Henslee in Hankins, New York on April 24, 1977; they | 12 | | settled in Marengo in 1978; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Harris Kimbrough, Jr. practiced dentistry with a | 14 | | focus on the temporomandibular joint and nutrition; he and his | 15 | | wife led seminars in homeopathy and dentistry, including the | 16 | | Wgstd Group, Inc. group for 37 years; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Harris Kimbrough, Jr. was a member of Westminster | 18 | | Presbyterian Church in Elgin and enjoyed home improvement | 19 | | projects; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Harris Kimbrough, Jr. was preceded in death by his | 21 | | parents; his sister; and his daughter, Robin Kimbrough; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Harris Kimbrough, Jr. is survived by his devoted | 2 | | wife, Diane; his children Katrina (Dale) Elliott, Ned | 3 | | Kimbrough, Mike (Jeanette) Kimbrough, Kristi (Kurt) | 4 | | Scharrenberg, Cinamon Kimbrough, and Scott (Kristen) | 5 | | Kimbrough; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; | 6 | | therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 9 | | Harris M. Kimbrough, Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to | 10 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 11 | | further
