| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Sylvia R. (Zorc) Trygar of Winthrop | 4 | | Harbor, who passed away on January 30, 2017 at the age of 83; | 5 | | and
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Sylvia Trygar was born in Waukegan to Anton and | 7 | | Pauline Zorc on December 13, 1933; she graduated from Waukegan | 8 | | Township High School in 1952 and married Chester Trygar at | 9 | | Mother of God Catholic Church in Waukegan in 1954; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Sylvia Trygar was a bookkeeper at North Shore Gas | 11 | | Company and later at Our Lady of Humility Church for 25 years | 12 | | until she retired in 1991 to take care of her precious new | 13 | | granddaughter; she was an active member in the church and | 14 | | supported bingo and other fundraising activities for over 20 | 15 | | years, and was a member of KSKJ for 75 years; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Sylvia Trygar loved to paint with all art mediums; | 17 | | she enjoyed spending time with her husband gardening, tending | 18 | | to her flowers, and yard work; she will always be remembered | 19 | | for her great cooking and baking skills; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Sylvia Trygar was preceded in death by her | 21 | | parents, and her brother, Ottavio Zorc; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Sylvia Trygar is survived by her husband of 62 | 2 | | years, Chester; her children, Debra (Steven) Angrist and Joseph | 3 | | (Kimberly) Trygar; her granddaughter, Paloma "Peaches" | 4 | | (Raymond) Kennedy; her brother, Michael Zorc; and many nieces, | 5 | | nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended | 6 | | family members; therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 9 | | Sylvia R. Trygar, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 10 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 11 | | further
| 12 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 13 | | presented to the family of Sylvia Trygar as an expression of | 14 | | our deepest sympathy.
