| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Milton E. Johnson of Colona, who passed | 4 | | away on March 15, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Milton Johnson was born in Moline to Chester | 6 | | Johnson and Evelyn McKinney on February 2, 1950; he served in | 7 | | the United States Marines during the Vietnam Era and received a | 8 | | welding degree from Black Hawk College; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Milton Johnson worked at R.I. Lines for 11 years | 10 | | and then the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring after 29 years of | 11 | | service; and | 12 | | WHEREAS, Milton Johnson enjoyed woodworking and golf; and | 13 | | WHEREAS, Milton Johnson was married to Jennie Bernauer for | 14 | | 31 years; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Milton Johnson was preceded in death by his | 16 | | parents; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Milton Johnson is survived by his children, Jennie | 18 | | Lynn (Jose) Becerra and Paul (Tina) Johnson; his grandchildren, | 19 | | Kenzi Johnson, Ellianna Becerra, Jose Becerra, Jr., Brenden |
