| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Muriel A. Budzynski of Johnsburg, who | 4 | | passed away on April 24, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Muriel Budzynski was born in Chicago to John F. | 6 | | and Eleanora (Marszalek) Paszkiet on May 9, 1939; as a young | 7 | | woman, she worked with the St. Vincent de Paul Society in their | 8 | | infant ward; she married Richard Budzynski at St. Robert | 9 | | Bellarmine Church in Chicago on September 29, 1962; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Muriel Budzynski worked with her husband at the | 11 | | family printing business, RFB Litho Service Inc. in Johnsburg | 12 | | for 39 years; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Muriel Budzynski and her family summered in | 14 | | Johnsburg for 10 years before settling in Johnsburg in 1999; | 15 | | she was a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Church in | 16 | | Johnsburg; she was also active with the Knights of Columbus | 17 | | Council 9167 Ladies Auxiliary; and | 18 | | WHEREAS, Muriel Budzynski's passion was her family; she was | 19 | | a talented cook who loved to feed people; she and her husband | 20 | | were affectionately known as "Mr. & Mrs. B" by her children's | 21 | | friends, who were loved and always welcomed when her children |

| 1 | | had friends over or hosted parties; and
| 2 | | WHEREAS, Muriel Budzynski was preceded in death by her | 3 | | parents; her husband, Richard F. Budzynski Sr.; and her | 4 | | brothers, John, Walter (the late Dona), and David Paszkiet; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Muriel Budzynski is survived by her children, | 6 | | Adrienne (Christopher) Hentz and Richard F. Jr. (Karina) | 7 | | Budzynski; her grandchildren, Alexander, Shawn, Elise, Jake, | 8 | | and Mila; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy (the late George) | 9 | | Blickhawn and JoAnne Paszkiet; therefore, be it
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 12 | | Muriel A. Budzynski, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 13 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 14 | | further
