| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Frances Lena Freund of McHenry, who | 4 | | passed away on April 21, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Frances Freund was born in Chicago to Edi and Lena | 6 | | (Grill) Thomas on December 10, 1928; she married Eugene Freund | 7 | | at St. Ritas in Chicago on January 3, 1959; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Frances Freund was an employee of both Nation | 9 | | Chemical and Campbell's; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Frances Freund was an active and proud member of | 11 | | the community; she joined multiple clubs, including the Red | 12 | | Hatters; she loved to sing and especially loved the time she | 13 | | spent as a young woman at her family cottage in Wonder Lake | 14 | | during the summer; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Frances Freund was preceded in death by her | 16 | | husband of over 44 years, Eugene; her parents; her brothers, | 17 | | John (the late Helen) Thomas and Peter (the late Dorothy) | 18 | | Thomas; her sisters, Elizabeth (the late Bill) Bollacker and | 19 | | Mary (the late Ed) Primozic; her daughter, Cynthia Ramsay; her | 20 | | granddaughter, Elizabeth Ramsay; her great-grandson, Colin | 21 | | Loud; her sisters-in-law, Joan (Robert) Freund, Joan (late |
