| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Georgia May Robinson of Fort Myers, | 4 | | Florida and Lincolnshire, who passed away on May 3, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Georgia Robinson was born September 6, 1926 in | 6 | | Detroit, Michigan; her parents were George and Lena Levin; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Georgia Robinson earned a Bachelor of Science in | 8 | | biology from Elmhurst College and a Master of Science in | 9 | | education from the National College of Education; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Georgia Robinson was employed as a laboratory | 11 | | scientist at Armour Pharmaceuticals; she then worked as a | 12 | | preschool teacher and a Student Teacher Supervisor at National | 13 | | College of Education; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Georgia Robinson was a member of Congregation Am | 15 | | Echod; she was also a former President of the American | 16 | | Association of University Women Nursery School and the School | 17 | | Chairman at Am Echod School; and | 18 | | WHEREAS, Georgia Robinson was an accomplished artist and | 19 | | loved to teach mahjong and quilling to her many friends; she | 20 | | was a member of the Lexington Art Guild and the Deerpath Art |

| 2 | | WHEREAS, Georgia Robinson is preceded in death by her | 3 | | parents; her brother, George Levin; and her sisters, Mildred | 4 | | Levin and Elinor Levin; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Georgia Robinson is survived by her loving | 6 | | husband, Ralph Robinson; her sons, Aron and Steve Robinson; her | 7 | | daughter-in-law, Mary Robinson; her grandchildren, Michael, | 8 | | Danny, and Amy; her sister, Mardell Matthews; her | 9 | | sisters-in-law, Lili and Sylvia; and many nieces and nephews; | 10 | | therefore, be it
| 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 12 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | 13 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Georgia May Robinson; | 14 | | and be it further
| 15 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 16 | | presented to the family of Georgia Robinson as an expression of | 17 | | our sympathy.
