| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Peter A. Lentine of Gurnee, who passed | 4 | | away on February 24, 2013; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Peter Lentine was born on November 19, 1934, in | 6 | | Waukegan to Dominick and Anna (Zarlinga) Lentine; he grew up in | 7 | | Waukegan and graduated from Waukegan Township High School; he | 8 | | served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 3 years and fought in the | 9 | | Korean War; he was discharged in 1956 with the rank of | 10 | | sergeant; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Peter Lentine retired from Illinois Bell | 12 | | Telephone Company after nearly 30 years of service; he served | 13 | | as Waukegan city alderman for 12 years; he married Cassandra | 14 | | Stone in 1987 and was married for 25 years; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Peter Lentine was preceded in death by his | 16 | | parents; his brother, Joseph; and his grandson, John Michael | 17 | | Walczak Jr.; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Peter Lentine is survived by his wife, Cassandra; | 19 | | his son, Perry Lentine (Heather Mason); his daughters, Juliann | 20 | | May, Gina Lentine, Lisa (John) Walczak, Rhonda (Bob) Naylor, | 21 | | Christie (Pete) Commons, and Lori (Jim) Volpentesta; his |
