| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Anthony V. Casagrande of Waukegan, | 4 | | formerly of Ironwood, Michigan, who passed away on September | 5 | | 19, 2018; and
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Anthony Casagrande was born in Ironwood, Michigan | 7 | | to Victor and Antoinette Casagrande on May 29, 1934; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Anthony Casagrande served in the United States | 9 | | Army; he retired from the United States Steel Corporation after | 10 | | many years of service; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Anthony Casagrande was a member of Our Lady of | 12 | | Humility Church; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Anthony Casagrande was preceded in death by his | 14 | | parents and his siblings, Frances, Mary Louise, and William; | 15 | | and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Anthony Casagrande is survived by his wife of 43 | 17 | | years, Cecelia Messex Casagrande; his stepchildren, Bernard | 18 | | (Janet) Miller Jr., Michael (Tammy) Miller, and Elaine Miller; | 19 | | his three grandchildren; his five great-grandchildren; his | 20 | | brothers Bert Casagrande and Ray (Shirley) Casagrande; and his |
