| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Donald R. "Don" Bohannon of Godfrey, who | 4 | | passed away on November 6, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Don Bohannon was born in Benton, Kentucky to | 6 | | Charles Ray and Alma Elizabeth (Downing) Bohannon on October | 7 | | 18, 1940; he married Darlene Tepen at St. John's Catholic | 8 | | Church in Carrollton on July 21, 1962; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Don Bohannon retired from the Olin Corporation as | 10 | | a ballistics supervisor after 43 years; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Don Bohannon was a parishioner of St. Mary's | 12 | | Church in Alton; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, | 13 | | playing golf, and especially his grandchildren's sporting | 14 | | events; he was also an avid trap shooter and loved spending | 15 | | time with his family and friends; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Don Bohannon is survived by his wife, Darlene; his | 17 | | children, Donald Lee (Melisa) Bohannon, Randal "Randy" (Cheri) | 18 | | Bohannon, Gretchen Joehl, and Brad (Stephanie) Bohannon; his | 19 | | grandchildren, Andy (Jessie) Bohannon, Megan (Ashley) | 20 | | Bohannon, Katie (Jeremy) Dunnagan, Emma Bohannon, Nick | 21 | | Bohannon, Lindsey Dover, Maddie Joehl, Nathan Joehl, Anna |
