| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Larry Lee Noreuil of Hopedale, formerly | 4 | | of Pekin, who passed away on December 31, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Larry Noreuil was born in Carlinville to Antone | 6 | | and Jennie Conterio Noreuil on April 30, 1944; he attended St. | 7 | | Joseph Catholic School, Pekin Community High School, and | 8 | | Midstate College in Peoria; he married Cynthia Francesca Rossi | 9 | | in Hopedale on December 28, 1958; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Larry Noreuil worked as a real estate agent for 40 | 11 | | years; he last worked as the Nursing Home Administrator for | 12 | | Hopedale Medical Complex; he served on the Tazewell County | 13 | | Board for 21 years and was the Pekin Township Supervisor for 26 | 14 | | years, where he instituted the workfare program and initiated | 15 | | free meals for families in need; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Larry Noreuil was active in the Democratic Party; | 17 | | he was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin and | 18 | | Hopedale; he loved his family; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Larry Noreuil was preceded in death by his | 20 | | parents; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Larry Noreuil is survived by his children, Andrew | 2 | | (Lynne) Noreuil, Nicole (John) Scherer, Phillip Noreuil, | 3 | | Christopher (Jamy) Noreuil, and Francesca (fiance, Richard | 4 | | Morgan) Noreuil; his grandchildren, Augustus, Theodore, | 5 | | Benedict, Gwendolyn, Alex, Olivia, Connor, Madilyn, Victoria, | 6 | | and Dominic; his brother, Stephen (Patricia) Noreuil; and his | 7 | | sister, Paulette Weghorst; therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 10 | | Larry Lee Noreuil and extend our sincere condolences to his | 11 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 12 | | further
| 13 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 14 | | presented to the family of Larry Noreuil as an expression of | 15 | | our deepest sympathy.
