| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate the players and | 4 |
| coaches of the Driscoll Catholic High School girls basketball | 5 |
| team on the occasion of winning the Class 2A State | 6 |
| championship; and
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, The Driscoll Catholic High School girls | 8 |
| basketball team beat West Hancock 40-35 at Illinois State's | 9 |
| Redbird Arena in Normal to win the Class 2A State championship | 10 |
| on February 28, 2009, becoming the first girls team in Driscoll | 11 |
| school history to win a title; and
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Driscoll Catholic High School | 13 |
| girls basketball team are Allie DiVito, Taylor Reaber, Kasey | 14 |
| Reaber, Katelyn Conenna, Gina Maritote, Tarah McShane, | 15 |
| Breaunna Medinger, Maggie Osial, Gigi DiGrazia, Lauren | 16 |
| Schwabe, Courtney Lindfors, Shaquira Scott, Janet Jozwiak, and | 17 |
| Shaquina Scott; the team's head coach is Steve McCuiston and | 18 |
| the assistant coaches are Tony DiGrazia, Mike Batka, and Frank | 19 |
| Reaber; and | 20 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Driscoll Catholic High School | 21 |
| girls basketball team serve as models of hard work, integrity, | 22 |
| and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; |

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | 3 |
| NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | 4 |
| congratulate the players and coaches of the Driscoll Catholic | 5 |
| High School girls basketball team on the occasion of winning | 6 |
| the Class 2A State championship and wish them continued success | 7 |
| and happiness in the future; and be it further
| 8 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 9 |
| presented to Driscoll Catholic High School girls basketball | 10 |
| team head coach Steve McCuiston as a symbol of our esteem and | 11 |
| respect.
