1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of
3 Illinois learned with regret of the death of Frank Clark on
4 September 8, 2003; and
5 WHEREAS, Frank Clark was born on August 5, 1938 in
6 Cahoma, Mississippi to Boliver and Mary Clark; and
7 WHEREAS, Frank Clark grew up and attended school in
8 Jonestown, Mississippi; he was a graduate of Jonestown Senior
9 High School; and
10 WHEREAS, Later on in life, Mr. Clark moved to East St.
11 Louis where he worked for more than 20 years in the East St.
12 Louis School District 189; following that, he worked for the
13 St. Clair County Sheriff's Department, served as Alderman and
14 Precinct Committee Chairman in Precinct 44 for the City of
15 East St. Louis, and worked as Supervisor of the Public Works
16 Department of East St. Louis; and
17 WHEREAS, The passing of Frank Clark has been deeply felt
18 by all who knew and loved him, especially his devoted wife,
19 Lottie Clark; his sons, Charles Clark, Dennis Clark, Bolivar
20 (Barbara) Clark, Stanley (Jackie) Clark, Randall (Alnetta)
21 White, Roderick (Tracey) White, Reginald (Juanita) White, and
22 Ramon White; his daughters, Rhonda (Richard) Wilson, Marsha
23 Clark, Michelle (Londell) Woodson, Lisa (Everett) Tigue, and
24 RaToya Cruise; his brothers. Sylvester (Irene) Clark and
25 Willie Clark; his sisters, Sudie Green and Myrtle Pendleton;
26 his 23 grandchildren; and his many aunts, uncles, nieces,
27 nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends; therefore, be
28 it
29 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
30 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing
31 of Frank Clark and extend our deepest sympathy to his family,

2 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3 presented to the family of Frank Clark as an expression of
4 our sincerest condolences.
