| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Juanita L. Braid of McHenry, who passed | 4 | | away on February 23, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Juanita Braid was born in Chicago on June 5, 1923 | 6 | | to Elmer Nathen and Lena (nee Reynolds) Lain; she married | 7 | | Robert T. Braid on September 22, 1945 in Chicago; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Juanita Braid worked as an administrative | 9 | | assistant for United Airlines for over 20 years and was a | 10 | | member of the Retired United Airlines Employees; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Juanita Braid enjoyed horseback riding, singing, | 12 | | reading the newspaper every day, and spending time with her | 13 | | family; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Juanita Braid was preceded in death by her | 15 | | parents; her husband, Robert; her brothers, Paul and Ralph | 16 | | Lain; and her sister, Lucile Smith; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Juanita Braid is survived by her children, Sandra | 18 | | Braid, Debra (David) Mistereck, and Candy (Vince) Lewandowski; | 19 | | her grandchildren, Tom (Deborah) Hernandez, Douglas and Dustin | 20 | | Hernandez, and Jessica and Jim Lewandowski; and her |
