| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Anna Mae "Ann" Link of Carlinville, who | 4 | | passed away on March 13, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Anna Link was born in Chicago on May 15, 1933 to | 6 | | Benjamin and Rose (Jasinski) Piascik; she graduated from St. | 7 | | Mary of Perpetual Help in Chicago
and married Charles Glenn | 8 | | Link at St. Joseph Catholic
Church in Carlinville on May 23, | 9 | | 1951; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Anna Link worked for Area Heating and Cooling in | 11 | | Carlinville as a bookkeeper; she also worked for Tri-City | 12 | | Grocery, Taylor's Chili Parlor, Rosentreter Body
Shop, and as a | 13 | | bookkeeper and a clerk for the Secretary of State in | 14 | | Springfield; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Anna Link was a member of Ss.
Mary and Joseph | 16 | | Catholic Church in Carlinville; she loved music, dancing, | 17 | | roller skating, traveling,
and canning; she was a past member | 18 | | of the Catholic Daughters of America and Sweet Adeline; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Anna Link was preceded in death by her husband, | 20 | | Charles; her parents; her grandchildren, Jill and Jennifer
| 21 | | Beanblossom, and Jacob Link, and her sisters, Nancy Barley, |

great-grandchildren; her step-sisters, Shirley and | 8 | | Doris Falter; and several nieces and
nephews; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 11 | | Anna Mae "Ann" Link, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 12 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 13 | | further
