| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Luke Andrew Johnsos, who passed away on | 4 | | March 5, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Luke Johnsos was born on March 10, 1941; he | 6 | | graduated from Michigan State University in 1964; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Luke Johnsos established Business | 8 | | Graphics/Woodstock Dietary Systems in 1981 and ran the business | 9 | | with his wife until his retirement in 2015; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Luke Johnsos held positions on the Deerfield | 11 | | School Board, the McHenry County Restaurant Association, the | 12 | | Illinois Restaurant Association, the Rural Woodstock Public | 13 | | Library Board, and many District 200 referendum committees; he | 14 | | was President of the District 200 Backers Club for two years; | 15 | | he was on the Memorial Hospital Foundation Board, where served | 16 | | as President in 1995; he also sat on the Board of Governors of | 17 | | Centegra Health System for over 20 years, where he was Chairman | 18 | | from 2000 to 2002; and | 19 | | WHEREAS, Luke Johnsos served many years as an usher at | 20 | | Saint Mary Catholic Church in Woodstock; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Luke Johnsos enjoyed playing golf and rooting for | 2 | | the Chicago Bears and the Michigan State University Spartans; | 3 | | and
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Luke Johnsos is survived by his wife of 50 years, | 5 | | Judy Corey Johnsos; his children, Luke Andrew Johnsos III, | 6 | | Peter (Charlene) Johnsos, Anne (Clark) Richter, and Katie | 7 | | (Kimo) Sanderson; his grandchildren, Jack and Ellie Sanderson, | 8 | | Sofia and Hannah Richter, and Zeke and Josh Johnsos; his | 9 | | sisters, Judy (John) Wohlford, Janet Trafelet, Barbara (Brian) | 10 | | Kocher, and Ann (Bob) Steffes; and many nieces and nephews; | 11 | | therefore, be it
| 12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 13 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 14 | | Luke Andrew Johnsos, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 15 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 16 | | further
