| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois | 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Elizabeth Winn of Marion | 4 |
| on July 10, 2005; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Winn was born on February 29, 1928, in Creal | 6 |
| Springs, to Charlie and Oma Lee (Cavitt) Faulkner; she married | 7 |
| Clyde Winn on December 15, 1945, in Piggott, Arkansas; and
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, She retired from Chicago Rawhide after working | 9 |
| there for more than 30 years; she sold Avon for more than 45 | 10 |
| years and most of that time was spent in the Presidents' Club; | 11 |
| she volunteered at the Marion Memorial Hospital Auxiliary | 12 |
| Thrift Shop; she was a member of the American Legion Ladies | 13 |
| Auxiliary, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and Eagles Ladies Auxiliary; | 14 |
| she was also a member of the Senior Circle; and
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, her | 16 |
| husband, her grandson, Ronald Schneider, her sisters, Dorris | 17 |
| Watson and Mary Esther Minter, and her brothers, Donald, | 18 |
| Robert, and Earl Faulkner; and
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Elizabeth Winn is felt by all who | 20 |
| knew and loved her, especially her daughter, Barbara and | 21 |
| husband Gary Underwager; her four grandchildren, four | 22 |
| step-grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; her brother, | 23 |
| John and Betty Faulkner; her sister, Shirley and Paul Gower; | 24 |
| and her nieces and nephews and very special friends and | 25 |
| neighbors on Duncan Street; therefore, be it
| 26 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL | 27 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 28 |
| Elizabeth Winn and extend our sincerest condolences to her | 29 |
| family and friends; and be it further
