| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express | 3 |
| their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Thomas | 4 |
| Alfred Hurrell of Sugar Grove, who passed away on January 20, | 5 |
| 2007; and
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Thomas Hurrell was born September 15, 1958 in | 7 |
| Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, He was a member of Holy Angel Church; he was the | 9 |
| owner of Merus Management Group in Naperville and the past | 10 |
| president of the Kiwanis Club of Aurora; he was an avid | 11 |
| outdoorsman; and
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Thomas Hurrell was a kind and compassionate man | 13 |
| who loved his family deeply and held a deep devotion to God; | 14 |
| and
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Thomas Hurrell was preceded in death by his | 16 |
| father-in-law, William E. Lenert, Sr.; and
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Thomas Hurrell is survived by his loving wife, | 18 |
| Dianne (Lenert); his children, Thomas Alfred Hurrell, Jr., Mary | 19 |
| LaMese Hurrell, and Sarah Lugenia Hurrell; his parents, Ernest | 20 |
| J. and Lucille (Albert) Hurrell; his sister, LaMese (Gordon) |

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL | 8 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 9 |
| his family and friends, the passing of Thomas Alfred Hurrell; | 10 |
| and be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 12 |
| presented to the family of Thomas Alfred Hurrell as an | 13 |
| expression of our sympathy.
