| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Ciri Kay Baehman of Ringwood, who passed | 4 | | away on March 15, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ciri Baehman was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin on | 6 | | June 2, 1960 to Harold and Shirley (nee Vang) Sorenson and she | 7 | | and her parents lived in Greece while her father taught | 8 | | English; she grew up in Wausau, Wisconsin and enjoyed camping | 9 | | and fishing with friends and spending time at the family | 10 | | business, Sorenson's Floral Shop; she married John D. Baehman | 11 | | on January 16, 1988 in Wausau; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, While raising 3 children, Ciri Baehman graduated | 13 | | with honors from Northcentral Technical College in 1996 with a | 14 | | degree in nursing and worked as a registered nurse; after | 15 | | several moves, she and her family finally settled in Ringwood; | 16 | | and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Ciri Baehman enjoyed traveling, especially to | 18 | | Disney World, her daily phone calls with her best friend, | 19 | | Joanne, and spending time with family; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Ciri Baehman as preceded in death by her parents; | 21 | | and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Ciri Baehman is survived by her husband of 27 | 2 | | years, John; her 3 children, Kent (Amber Kiefer) Baehman, Kate | 3 | | Baehman, and Clair Baehman; her 2 brothers, Todd (Sheila) | 4 | | Sorenson and Craig (Sandy) Sorenson; several nieces and | 5 | | nephews; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and | 6 | | Joanne Baehman; therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 9 | | Ciri Kay Baehman, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 10 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 11 | | further
| 12 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 13 | | presented to the family of Ciri Baehman an expression of our | 14 | | deepest sympathy.
