| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Marvin E. Lang Jr. of Woodstock, who | 4 | | passed away on April 15, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Marvin Lang was born in Medford, Wisconsin to | 6 | | Marvin E. and Grace (Patterson) Lang on July 3, 1936; he | 7 | | married Dorothy Gilkerson on June 23, 1962; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Marvin Lang worked for ComEd for 39 years until | 9 | | his retirement; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Marvin Lang was a member of St. John's Lutheran | 11 | | Church in Woodstock; he was an American Cribbage Grand Master | 12 | | and a member of the American Cribbage Conference; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Marvin Lang was preceded in death by his parents; | 14 | | his wife, Dorothy; his daughter-in-law, Amy; and his siblings, | 15 | | Peggy Scheel, and Jules "Dutes" Lang; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Marvin Lang is survived by his children, Marvin | 17 | | III (Laura) and Victoria Lang; his grandchildren, Candice (Dan) | 18 | | Nieves, and Casey Troyer; his great-grandchildren, Alexis, | 19 | | Briana, and Naomi; his brother, George (Joyce) Lang; and his | 20 | | stepmother, Lulumae Lang; therefore, be it
