| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Jack D. Gentry of Silvis, who passed away | 4 | | on May 24, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jack Gentry was born in Atkinson to Ralph and Ruth | 6 | | (DeWolf) Gentry on September 12, 1932; he served in the United | 7 | | States Army; he married Elaine Cosner in Sterling on January | 8 | | 26, 1969; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Jack Gentry worked as a truck driver for 25 years | 10 | | and retired in 1995; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Jack Gentry was preceded in death by his brother, | 12 | | Raymond Gentry; his sister, Connie Edwards; and his | 13 | | stepdaughter, Linda Staples; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Jack Gentry is survived by his wife of 50 years, | 15 | | Elaine Gentry; his children, Bonnie (John) DeMarlie, Carol | 16 | | (Allen) Deyoe, Susan (Mark) Vaughn, and David Peterson; his | 17 | | many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his siblings, | 18 | | Winiford (Ruth) Gentry, Roy Gentry, Richard (Pat) Gentry, Keith | 19 | | (Sandra) Gentry, Jim (Audrey) Gentry, and Sheryl (Mike) | 20 | | Lewsader; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
