| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Tracy Anderson Cuevas of Rantoul, who | 4 | | passed away on December 30, 2011; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, She was born March 4, 1958, a daughter of George | 6 | | and Deloris (Falk) Anderson; she married Nelson Cuevas on | 7 | | August 21, 2004, at Word of Life Church, Rantoul; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, She was raised the daughter of an Air Force | 9 | | sergeant and attended many schools: Gwinn, Michigan; K.I. | 10 | | Sawyer Air Force Base, Michigan; Ramey Air Force Base, Puerto | 11 | | Rico; Oscoda, Michigan; and Eastlawn, Myna Thompson, J.W. | 12 | | Eater, and Rantoul Township High School, all in Rantoul, where | 13 | | she graduated; following graduation, she lived the rest of her | 14 | | life in Rantoul; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, She became a member of the American Association of | 16 | | Christian Counselors in 2004, and on July 24, 2005, she was | 17 | | ordained a minister of Christian Life Church, Rantoul; she and | 18 | | her husband started a ministry to Hispanic/Latino children in | 19 | | 2003; in October 2004, they founded Cultivators, a nonprofit | 20 | | agency; through the years, it grew into a substantial ministry | 21 | | whose mission was to provide education and training to members | 22 | | of the Hispanic/Latino community and others in matters |

| 1 | | attending to their financial, social, and spiritual lives; she | 2 | | was an avid flower gardener and loved her dogs; and
| 3 | | WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her father; and
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Tracy Cuevas is survived by her husband, Nelson; | 5 | | her mother; her foster daughter, Amy Chipman; her sister, Terri | 6 | | (Ken) Bingaman; her brother, Tim (Bobbi) Anderson; and a niece | 7 | | and 5 nephews; therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 10 | | her family and friends, the passing of Tracy Cuevas; and be it | 11 | | further
| 12 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 13 | | presented to the family of Tracy Cuevas as a symbol of our | 14 | | sincere sympathy.
