| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of David K. Parker of Peoria, who passed | 4 | | away on September 3, 2013; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, David Parker was born on March 4, 1949 in Sterling | 6 | | to Howard and Lillian "Liv" (nee Jacobs) Parker; he married | 7 | | Janet Barber on September 27, 1969 in Lombard; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, David Parker worked in logistics at Caterpillar | 9 | | Incorporated for 36 years; he later worked for the Peoria | 10 | | Mobile Medic Ambulance Company, Advanced Medical Transport, | 11 | | and Wright and Salmon Mortuary; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, David Parker was a member of American Legion | 13 | | Limestone Post 979 in Bartonville; he was an usher at the Corn | 14 | | Stock Theatre and loved to fish; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, David Parker was preceded in death by his wife, | 16 | | Janet; his father; his uncles; and one great-grandchild; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, David Parker is survived by his mother, Liv | 18 | | Parker; his children, Julie (Charlie) Jackson, Tim (Dorie) | 19 | | Parker, Monica (Dawn) Parker Frakes, and Nena (Steve) Clarke; | 20 | | his grandchildren, Eddie, Tim Jr., Rebecca, Jlynn, Kim |
