| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of James "Jimmy" S. Zachar of Huntley, who | 4 | | passed away on May 21, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, James Zachar was born in Chicago to Stanley and | 6 | | Barbara (Krughoff) Zachar in 1948; he served in the United | 7 | | States Army in the Vietnam War, where he was decorated with | 8 | | three honorary service medals; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, James Zachar worked as a truck driver and | 10 | | specialty hauling contractor in the Chicago area; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, James Zachar loved to tinker and have garage sales | 12 | | with his many "found treasures"; he was an avid fisherman; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, James Zachar was preceded in death by his parents; | 14 | | his stepson, William MacShane; and his step-granddaughter, | 15 | | Natalie MacShane; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, James Zachar is survived by his loving wife of 38 | 17 | | years, Roberta M. St. Clair; his stepchildren, Susan Kuhlman, | 18 | | Dennis (Kim) MacShane, Therese (Jack) Caveney, MaryKay | 19 | | MacShane, and Christopher (Diane) MacShane; 12 | 20 | | step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and his |
