| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Fred Joe Clark of Hampton, who passed | 4 | | away on May 30, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Fred Clark was born in Waukee, Iowa to Robert and | 6 | | Ruth Keyes Clark; he served in the United States Navy during | 7 | | the Korean War; he married Augusta "Kay" Liggett in 1979; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Fred Clark was an inspector at Frank Foundries in | 9 | | Moline until its closure; he then worked at Blackhawk Foundry | 10 | | in Davenport, Iowa; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Fred Clark was preceded in death by his parents; | 12 | | his wife, Kay; his infant brother, William Lee Clark; and his | 13 | | brother, Robert "Ike" Clark; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Fred Clark is survived by his son, Darryl Clark; | 15 | | his stepchildren, Pam Smith, Pat Vermeire, Robert Scudder Jr., | 16 | | and James L. Scudder; his brothers, Dean Clark, Ralph (Jo) | 17 | | Clark, William (Ellie) Clark, and Tommy Clark; and numerous | 18 | | nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
