| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Barbara Jean Hogan; and
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Hogan was born on March 12, 1936 to Earl | 5 | | and Eursel Steward; she had 5 brothers, Earl, Jr., Ronald, | 6 | | Melvin, Michael, and Samuel and a sister, Florece; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Hogan graduated from high school in August | 8 | | of 1954; she married John Willie Hogan on October 10, 1954; | 9 | | they were married for over 41 years and had 12 children, | 10 | | Denise, John Lamar (deceased), Daryl, Dwayne, Theresa, | 11 | | Christopher, Antonio, Calvin (deceased), Marlon, Lorene, | 12 | | Chandra. and Nicole; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Hogan was a member of the Indiana Avenue | 14 | | Pentecostal Church of God; she was a member of the church | 15 | | missionary choir and was known and loved for her hospitality; | 16 | | she served and welcomed many friends and church members in her | 17 | | home; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Barbara is survived by her children Denise, Daryl, | 19 | | Dwayne (Dianna), Theresa, Antonio (Pauline), Christopher | 20 | | (Rosslyn), Lorene, Marlon, Chandra (Mark), Nicole (Nathan); | 21 | | and many other loved ones, including Dr. Mattie Webb, Alicia |
