| 1 | | SENATE RESOLUTION | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of James "Jim" Feehan of Silvis, who | 4 | | passed away on December 22, 2023; and | 5 | | WHEREAS, James Feehan was born in East Moline on December | 6 | | 7, 1934, the child of William and Josephine (Scieszinski) | 7 | | Feehan; he graduated from United Township High School and | 8 | | enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps; he married Nancy Lee Andon | 9 | | at St. Anne Catholic Church in East Moline; and | 10 | | WHEREAS, James Feehan worked for The East Moline Herald | 11 | | and retired from the John Deere Foundry; and | 12 | | WHEREAS, James Feehan was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears | 13 | | and the Chicago Cubs; he enjoyed playing cards and visiting | 14 | | friends at the Little Brown Jug and the Eagles Club in Carbon | 15 | | Cliff; and | 16 | | WHEREAS, James Feehan was preceded in death by his parents | 17 | | and his siblings, Bill (Dorothy) Feehan, MaryJo (Don) Ziegler, | 18 | | and Patty (John) Hornick; and | 19 | | WHEREAS, James Feehan is survived by his children, James | 20 | | (Kyle) Feehan, Julie (Larry) Tate, Jana (Tom) Sabel, |
