| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Christopher Byrant "Chris" Clinton, who | 4 | | passed away on June 7, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Christopher Clinton was born in Joliet to Dave and | 6 | | Nan (Baltz) Clinton on March 5, 1968; he attended the Joliet | 7 | | Montessori School and graduated from St. Raymond Elementary | 8 | | School and Joliet Catholic High School; he earned a bachelor's | 9 | | degree from Drake University; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Christopher Clinton moved to Delray Beach, | 11 | | Florida and worked for many years in the banking industry; he | 12 | | then began his own business painting houses; and | 13 | | WHEREAS, Christopher Clinton was involved with and took | 14 | | pride in the work that he did with Kairos, an ecumenical prison | 15 | | ministry; he served as the chairman for the OCI (Okeechobee | 16 | | Correctional Institute) Advisory Council; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Christopher Clinton was just as happy to be by the | 18 | | ocean in Florida as he was to be back in Joliet, close to his | 19 | | family and friends; he had a contagious personality, a | 20 | | wonderful sense of humor, and many talents, including his | 21 | | ability to sing every Neil Diamond song; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Christopher Clinton was preceded by his maternal | 2 | | grandparents, Meade and Lydia Baltz; his paternal grandfather, | 3 | | Larry Clinton; and his paternal grandmother, Edna (Gene) | 4 | | Prange; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Christopher Clinton is survived by his parents; | 6 | | his brother, Jeffrey (Grace) Clinton; his niece, Abigail | 7 | | Clinton; his nephew, Samuel Clinton; and many aunts, uncles, | 8 | | and cousins; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 11 | | Christopher Byrant "Chris" Clinton, and extend our sincere | 12 | | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved | 13 | | him; and be it further
| 14 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 15 | | presented to the family of Christopher Clinton as an expression | 16 | | of our deepest sympathy.
