| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 |
| learn of the death of
Terrence Amore of Richmond, who passed | 4 |
| away on May 21, 2008; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Terrence Amore was born on November 30, 1946 in | 6 |
| Chicago; his parents were Robert and Mary (Sanders) Amore; he | 7 |
| married Marge Corrigan on May 3, 1969 at St. Bede's Church in | 8 |
| Ingleside; and
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Terrence Amore graduated from Marian Catholic | 10 |
| High School in Woodstock in 1966; and
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Terrence Amore served as a sergeant in the United | 12 |
| States Army from 1967 to 1970 and served in the transportation | 13 |
| corps during the Vietnam War; and
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Terrence Amore was the owner of Mid-American | 15 |
| Heating & Air Conditioning in Spring Grove for 15 years until | 16 |
| his retirement on November 30, 2006; and
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Terrence Amore was a member of St. Peter Catholic | 18 |
| Church in Spring Grove for many years, serving on the Finance | 19 |
| Committee and as an usher; he was a life member of Paul C. | 20 |
| Hoffman American Legion Post No. 253 of Richmond and a life |

| member of VFW Post No. 4600 of McHenry; he was the president of | 2 |
| Spring Grove Kiwanis and a past president of Richmond-Spring | 3 |
| Grove Chamber of Commerce; he served as an assistant chief and | 4 |
| president of the board of trustees of the Richmond Fire | 5 |
| Department; he was a former District 13 school board member; he | 6 |
| was a past president of the RBBA little league; and he was a | 7 |
| youth group leader at St. Joseph Church in Richmond; and
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Terrence Amore was preceded in death by his | 9 |
| father; his brother, Thomas; his grandson, Nathaniel Amore; and | 10 |
| his niece, Cheri Amore; and
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Terrence Amore is survived by his wife, Marge; his | 12 |
| daughters, Dawn (Don) Buchholtz, Christina "Teena" (Mike) | 13 |
| Medick, and Theresa (Matt) Yegge; his son, Matt (Ellen) Amore; | 14 |
| his grandchildren, Danielle, Rachael, Rebecca, and Hannah Joy | 15 |
| Buchholtz, Peyton and Christian Medick, Dylan and Dawson Yegge, | 16 |
| and Samuel, Hannah Kate, and Emma Amore; his mother, Mary | 17 |
| Amore; his sisters, Sr. Jean Amore, Margaret "Peg" (Ray) | 18 |
| Stevens, Barbara (Ron) Williams, Patricia "Toots" (Bill) | 19 |
| Vavrik, and Fran (Gil) Michelini; his brothers, Wayne (Chris) | 20 |
| Amore and Damien "Buster" (Cindy) Amore; and his sister-in-law, | 21 |
| Sandy Amore; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL | 23 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
