| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Ned L. Gosa Sr. of Moline, who passed | 4 | | away on October 18, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ned Gosa was born in Beaverton, Alabama to Lee and | 6 | | Leila (Stanford) Gosa on June 24, 1937; he married June Gengler | 7 | | in Muscatine, Iowa on June 2, 1956; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Ned Gosa worked as a mechanic for Alcoa for 40 | 9 | | years; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Ned Gosa was a member of Saint Maria Goretti | 11 | | Catholic Church in Coal Valley; he traveled to Alabama to visit | 12 | | family and took many road trips out west; he was an Alabama | 13 | | football fan and enjoyed taking care of his yard and garden; he | 14 | | loved spending time with his family and teasing his | 15 | | grandchildren; he had a great memory and was a great | 16 | | storyteller; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Ned Gosa was preceded in death by his wife, June; | 18 | | his son, Ned Gosa Jr.; his brother, Edward Gosa; and his | 19 | | sister, Annette Helms; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Ned Gosa is survived by his children, Tina (Tom) |
