| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Maynard "Red" White of Crystal Lake, who | 4 | | passed away on December 22, 2013; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Maynard White was born on January 26, 1937 in | 6 | | Chicago to Maynard and Margery (nee Williams) White; he | 7 | | graduated from Steinmetz High School in Chicago in 1954 and | 8 | | married Joanne Maday on September 22, 1956 in Chicago; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Maynard White retired from the R.B. Hayward | 10 | | Company after over 40 years of service; he was a member of | 11 | | Sheet Metal Workers Local #73 and worked on many of the | 12 | | landmark buildings that make up Chicago's famous skyline; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Maynard White enjoyed working on and restoring | 14 | | cars, especially his '67 Camaro; he was an avid water and snow | 15 | | skier, a certified scuba diver, and enjoyed riding his bicycle; | 16 | | he also liked working in his garden, traveling, camping, and | 17 | | spending time with his family; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Maynard White was preceded in death by his | 19 | | parents, and by his sister, Joan (Ed) Rossi; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Maynard White is survived by his wife, Joanne; his |

| 1 | | daughters, Debbie (Kurt) Miller and Denise (John) Lindquist; | 2 | | and his grandchildren, Jeff (Nicole Szulc-Cieplicki) and Andi | 3 | | (Beau Sanchez) Miller and Brenna, Ryan, Kyle, and Raina | 4 | | Lindquist; therefore, be it
| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 6 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 7 | | Maynard "Red" White, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 8 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 9 | | further
| 10 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 11 | | presented to the family of Maynard White as an expression of | 12 | | our deepest sympathy.
