| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of
Beatrice Freese of Royal, who passed away | 4 | | on May 27, 2012; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Beatrice Freese was born on February 3, 1927, in | 6 | | Compromise Township; she was the daughter of Carl and Grace | 7 | | (Pannbacker) Park; she married John G. Freese on August 8, | 8 | | 1948, in Gifford; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Beatrice Freese farmed alongside her husband in | 10 | | the Flatville-Thomasboro area; she was well known by all who | 11 | | knew her as a loving mother, grandmother, and | 12 | | great-grandmother; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Beatrice Freese was a member of St. John Lutheran | 14 | | Church; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Beatrice Freese was an avid fan of the St. Louis | 16 | | Cardinals and Illini teams and loved attending her | 17 | | grandchildren's youth baseball games; she also enjoyed | 18 | | spending many happy hours playing cards with her friends; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Beatrice Freese was preceded in death by her | 20 | | husband; her grandson, Brian Frerichs; her 2 brothers; and her |

| 1 | | 3 sisters; and | 2 | | WHEREAS, Beatrice Freese is survived by her daughters, | 3 | | Donna (Robert) Ramm and Diane (Stanley) Frerichs; her sister, | 4 | | Lorene Frerichs; her brother, John (Mildred) Park; and her 7 | 5 | | grandchildren, Deon Ramm, Kenneth Ramm, Kyle Ramm, Kathy | 6 | | Waller, Darren Ramm, Bruce Frerichs, and Joey Frerichs; and her | 7 | | 9 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 10 | | her family and friends, the passing of Beatrice Freese; and be | 11 | | it further
