| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois | 3 |
| learned with regret of the untimely death of Phillip Colter | 4 |
| Frey of Anna on Saturday, July 8, 2006; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born May 22, 1986, in Anna, the son of Mary | 6 |
| Rothschild-Adams and Charles Frey; and
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Colter was a 2004 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro | 8 |
| Community High School and attended Shawnee Community College in | 9 |
| Ullin; he was a member of Mount Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna; | 10 |
| and
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his paternal | 12 |
| grandmother, Virginia Frey; his uncle, Corlis "Cotton" Powles; | 13 |
| and his cousin, Brad Penninger; and
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Phillip Colter Frey has been deeply | 15 |
| felt by many, especially his mother and stepfather, Mary and | 16 |
| Tim Adams; his father, Charles Frey; his sisters, Katlyn and | 17 |
| Jocelyn; his maternal grandparents, David and Kay Rothschild; | 18 |
| his paternal grandfather, Edwin Frey; his maternal | 19 |
| great-grandparents, Phillip and Beulah Rothschild; his uncles, | 20 |
| Scott and wife, Julie Rothschild, Frank and wife, Dana Frey, | 21 |
| and Dennis and wife, Jackie Frey; his aunt,
Donna and husband, | 22 |
| Mike Dennard; his special friends, Samantha Nance and Chad | 23 |
| Stewart; and his cousins, other relatives, and many friends; | 24 |
| therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL | 26 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 27 |
| Phillip Colter Frey, who was taken from this world much too | 28 |
| soon, and we extend our sincere condolences to his family, his | 29 |
| friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
