| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Alicia Mary Scandiff, who passed away on | 4 | | August 8, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Alicia Scandiff was born in Chicago to John and | 6 | | Kathleen Smith on December 12, 1923; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Alicia Scandiff retired from Illinois Bell | 8 | | Telephone Company in the 1960s; she also worked as a realtor | 9 | | for Coldwell Banker, and was the first parish secretary at St. | 10 | | Dismas Catholic Church of Waukegan; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Alicia Scandiff was a member of the Red Hat | 12 | | Society; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Alicia Scandiff was preceded in death by her | 14 | | parents; her husband, George Albert Scandiff; her son, George | 15 | | R. Scandiff; and her sister, Eileen Remington; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Alicia Scandiff is survived by her children, | 17 | | Sherry (Joe) Manning, Gary (Barbara) Scandiff, John Scandiff, | 18 | | and Charles (Vicky) Scandiff; her sister, Karen (David) Harms; | 19 | | her 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, | 20 | | nieces, and nephews; therefore, be it
