| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Patricia "Pat" Kellogg of Woodstock, who | 4 | | passed away on January 17, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Patricia Kellogg was born on November 11, 1931 in | 6 | | Chicago to Ray and Mildred Johnson; she graduated from Taft | 7 | | High School in Chicago in 1949 and earned her associate's | 8 | | degree from McHenry County College while in her 60s; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Patricia Kellogg worked for many years for the | 10 | | Zukowski, Rogers, Flood, and McArdle law firm; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Patricia Kellogg was an avid cyclist and continued | 12 | | cycling even into her 80s; she enjoyed gardening, cross-country | 13 | | skiing, camping, kayaking, and snow shoeing with her bike club | 14 | | friends, who referred to her as "our little general"; she was a | 15 | | member and treasurer of the McHenry County Bike Club since | 16 | | 1981; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Patricia Kellogg was preceded in death by her | 18 | | parents; her daughter, Laura Kellogg Kipping; and her in-laws, | 19 | | Roger and Isabelle Kellogg; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Patricia Kellogg is survived by her children, Lynn |
